The internet is known to be a collection of networks. It is not owned by one or two specific people. The networks come together to form something called the "internet." The internet has been growing ever since it has begun and will grow in the future for the improvement people. What is contradictory, however, is that it is monitored by THE INTERNET SOCIETY; a non-profit group watching the the formation of policies and protocols that explain how we use and interact with the internet.
